Drink it now or cellar for up to 10 years. No need to decant. Villa Franciacorta is a family-run winery located in the Franciacorta wine region in the province of Brescia, and founded by Alessandro Bianchi. In the 1960s, Bianchi decided to acquire and renovate the ruined ancient hamlet of Villa, the original nucleus of Monticelli Brusati, with the 16th-century manor house at its center. After carefully zoning the various parcels of the estate, the winery began producing its first wines, at the beginning of the 70s. The Pinot Noir grapes come from vineyards located in Monticelli Brusati and Provaglio di Iseo, on deep, cool, clayey hillsides and foothills. After manual harvesting, done early to preserve the right balance between acidity and alcohol content, 80% of the grapes are vinified as a white wine, and 20% are subjected to a brief maceration. The second fermentation takes place with selected yeasts in the bottle, and the wine then ages on the lees for a minimum of 3 years. Boke Brut Rosé is a sparkling wine that expresses all the elegance of Pinot Noir. It has a bright, rosé color and a fragrant aromatic profile with notes of cherry, currant, and fresh red fruits, with hints of citrus and brioche. On the palate, it is fresh, juicy, lively, and smooth, with refreshing acidity and a long, slightly savory finish. It is excellent as an aperitif, with grilled prawns, and all seafood.
